October 31st: Film: ‘Gaza’, Reading Film Theatre, Reading

An important film about Gaza will be shown at Reading Film Theatre on Thursday 31st October at 8pm. Read more about the event here.

Throughout its entire history the Gaza Strip has been witness to conflict and upheaval. Every time a confrontation erupts between Israel and Hamas, news reports depict a land reduced to images
of violence, chaos and destruction. This film beautifully but graphically celebrates everyday human life in ‘open prison’ Gaza, allowing people to speak for themselves and to share their hopes and fears.
