Match Funding Appeal Extended!
Become a monthly giver, or increase an existing regular gift this summer and the first 3 months of donations will be doubled up to £5000!
We are delighted to offer our current members and new supporters a chance to double the impact of a financial gift this summer, extending our Match Funding May campaign. We have received a very generous offer to double any new regular giving for the first 3 months, or double any increase to an existing regular gift, up to a value of £5,000.
This means that if you sign up, for example, to give £10/month to us in May, your gift over 3 months will be worth £60 not £30!
Please watch this short video of Ruth, our under 35s/Fundraising Advocacy Worker, who explains a bit about why we’re asking for regular givers, and what your donation might enable us to do:
How can I sign up?
There are two ways to give a regular gift. Both are quick and easy! The first is to set up a direct debit using this form on our donate page: Donate | Sabeel-Kairos
The second is to contact your bank and set up a standing order with the following details:
Friends of Sabeel UK (FOSUK)
Co-operative Bank: Account Number: 65134982 Sort Code: 08-92-99
- What if I am already paying a yearly membership fee to Sabeel-Kairos?
Your monthly giving will include the membership fee, with the added bonus of there being no need to remember to renew your membership each year.
- How does monthly giving help Sabeel-Kairos? What will the money be spent on?
Regular giving will enable us to:
1- Continue supporting all of you in your advocacy and campaign work with resources, seminars, conferences and tailored advice to your church denomination.
2- Plan and expand our advocacy work and campaigns, knowing that as an organisation we have the capacity to do it.
3- Help us to raise up a new generation of advocates for Palestine amongst under 35s in UK churches.
Here is a example of the impact our work with under 35s is already having:
“After graduating and entering ‘normal adult life’, it was hard to know what to do with the feelings of sadness and frustration and to be accountable for the images I was seeing coming out of Palestine. Joining with Ruth and others to pray has helped me bring the situation to God, reminding me He is in control. … Now, I find it easier to challenge Zionist theology, to talk about Palestine and advocate for Palestinians to those around me, whether in my workplace, church, or with my friends. I don’t feel powerless anymore, but know I am part of a global community of prayer” (Chloe, member of our Young Advocates Forum)
