Resource for those on pilgrimage

Garth Hewitt has produced Songs from the Fifth Gospel, a double album of songs, prayers and stories about the land once known as ‘holy – for those on pilgrimage.

Songs from the Fifth Gospel may be helpful in preparation for a visit to the Holy Land and also as a reminder afterwards. There are songs on the album which can help people who have been on an alternative pilgrimage and come back wanting to talk about what they have seen and learned.

Many of the 33 songs on the double album are suitable for singing in situ during the pilgrimage and others for listening to in specific places or during evening or morning devotion times.
