Sabeel-Kairos UK Conference: From Lament to Liberation

Friday 17th October, St John’s Church Waterloo.
We’d love you to join us for our in-person conference with guest speakers Sahar Francis, Palestinian Human Rights Lawyer, and Revd Ashraf Tannous, Pastor of the Lutheran Churches in Bethlehem and Beit Sahour. We are so looking forward to hearing from both of these Palestinians who will be with us for a week of speaking engagements.
The conference will include talks, a panel, which we’re delighted will include the renowned Guardian Journalist Owen Jones, and also the chance in the afternoon to take part in an act of public witness. It will be a great time for us to stand together in solidarity and be an encouragement to one another.

The first hour of the conference (9.30am-10.30am) will be time for chat and refreshments. Whether you have been a member of Sabeel-Kairos for years, or have only just heard about us, we hope this informal time will give you an opportunity to make new connections and renew old ones! The later start of 10.30am for the beginning of the speaking programme means that hopefully those travelling from further afield have time to get there. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
